11111000 km for Muscular Dystrophy

Braam Roux and Pieter Van Hoogdalem are riding the Munga to raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation. The Munga, also known as ‘the toughest race on earth’, follows a single stage non-stop MTB race format, traversing over 1000km. The race concept is simple, all cyclists depart from Bloemfontein following a pre-navigated GPS route, with participants deciding whether they stop to eat or sleep at one of the five rest stations, while making their way to the cut off in the Cape Winelands as fast as they can.
